The short, honest version

Snapcount is an analytics and entertainment product. Our projections are statistical estimates — not guarantees, not betting advice, and not a promise of any outcome. We show our confidence ranges and our misses precisely so you can judge them for yourself. Use them as one input to your own decisions.

1. What Snapcount is

Snapcount provides model-generated NFL player projections, rankings, and calibrated ranges for informational and entertainment purposes. Every number is produced by statistical models on publicly available data and is inherently uncertain. Past performance of the model (including any backtest or "replay" figures shown on this site) does not guarantee future accuracy.

2. Not betting or financial advice

Nothing on Snapcount is gambling, betting, investment, or financial advice, or a recommendation to place any wager or transaction. We do not facilitate, accept, or process bets. If you choose to use our information in connection with any activity that involves risk of loss, you do so entirely at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for complying with all laws applicable to you. If gambling is a problem for you, help is available (in the U.S., call or text 1-800-GAMBLER).

3. No guarantees; limitation of liability

Snapcount is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snapcount and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information provided.

4. No NFL affiliation

Snapcount is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL), any NFL team, the NFL Players Association, or any player. All team names, player names, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary (nominative fair use) only.

5. Data sources

Projections are built from publicly available NFL data (play-by-play, box scores, depth charts, injury reports, and public news). We do not use, resell, or redistribute any licensed data feed in violation of its terms. Market/third-party projections shown for comparison are used for benchmarking only and are never blended into our own projections.

6. Privacy

At launch, Snapcount is designed to collect as little as possible:

No accounts, no login — you can use the board without signing up.
Your "thesis" history stays on your device — any lineup takes or adjustments you make are stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.
Waitlist emails are not currently stored on our servers — the signup form only acknowledges receipt. If you email us directly, your address is used only to contact you about the launch — never sold or shared — and you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
We may collect standard, aggregate analytics (page views, anonymized usage) to improve the product; we do not build advertising profiles or sell personal data.

7. Eligibility & changes

Snapcount is intended for users 18 and older. We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
